I have never felt like a tourist in my own country until I sat foot on this island.
I was welcomed with the utmost warmth of emotions and climate.
I was treated generously. Too generous.
I thought that we, Filipinos, lost it.
I have restored my faith in humanity.
I left being a better and more forgiving person.
I will try to be as welcoming as the people in Santa Fe.
I will start by not saying ‘I’.

Yes, you could be tourist in your own country, but I would rather feel home if I was living there. My goodness how lovely it must be to live in that place on earth. So much beautiful nature, amazing for the soul! xo sabine

The color of the water is gorgeous, I could see myself just sunbathing under one of those coconut trees, having a coconut cocktail in my hand.

I must admit I had to google Sta Fe Beach Club after reading your post and return here to comment. The beach is beautiful. Secluded and unspoiled just the way I like it. Relaxing and made me wish I was there instead of here in my room typing this comment 😀

Indeed it is. But I have got to say that it’s not only the beach, it’s also the very warm and welcoming attitude of the people there that made me want to stay longer.
Adventure is out there! Have yours!

At first, I thought this would be about the Santa Fe in New Mexico! But Santa Fe, New Mexico has almost no water! I love the colors in your pictures, especially on the fruits and flowers. And that beach looks so relaxing! I love being a tourist in my hometown NYC too! You can to try special things like this that you might otherwise ignore!

This Santa Fe is from an island in Cebu, Philippines. It is really beautiful there that’s why I ultimately felt like a tourist. It is indeed serene and relaxing.
All the best Miss Stella!

Your photos are amazing! I’m super envious. It’s hard to travel with a toddler so all my travel dreams are on hold.

Yes. And yeah, regardless of the time I went there, which is summer, it’s really not filled with people. It’s a total discharge from the city life which is what most of us need

These photos are beautiful! I love all the shades of blue. How nice to be a tourist in your own country. I would love to visit Santa Fe one day. It’s funny because we have a Santa Fe in the US but it’s in the desert!
